Web-Docs
is a new delivery system that allows desktop delivery of journal
articles from the MIT Libraries directly to library patrons and
members of the MIT Community worldwide.
To
retrieve your document(s), please follow these steps:
- Verify
that you have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader installed
on your machine. If not, contact your systems support person or
download
and install Acrobat yourself. You must have Adobe Acrobat
or Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in order to retrieve and view
your documents.
- Verify
that you have Javascript and Cookies enabled on your web browser.
Without these enabled, you cannot use this service.
- Input
your Login information in the form provided below.
- Your
Login Name is your complete e-mail address (the e-mail
address that your confirmation message was sent to).
- Your
PIN Number was provided in the e-mail message that
confirmed the completion of your document order.
- After
you have logged in, you will be directed to the Web-Docs pickup
area. You will see a list of your documents, the number of times
that your document has been viewed, the document size, and the
date your order was fulfilled.
- Click
on the name of each document to retrieve it. An Adobe Acrobat
window will open, and your document will be displayed. Each document
is listed by the last name of the first author of the article.

Note:
Your document(s) will remain available for viewing and retrieval
through Web-Docs until you have viewed the document 5 (five) times
or for the period of two weeks, whichever comes first. They will
not be available after this time.
